Adriano admits possibility of returning to Brazil

Roma striker Adriano has admitted to Brazilian magazine Extra that he would love to stay in the capital but fears that the situation may be taken out of his hands.
The 28-year-old has been frozen out of the first team by coach Claudio Ranieri and believes his future may lie elsewhere: “I want to stay in Rome but the coach keeps overlooking me” he explained.
It seems his likely destination should he leave the Giallorossi on loan in January will be Brazil to join up with an old friend. Adriano has been explaining that: “Ronaldo has called me to see what the situation is, I want to play first team football and I would consider a move to Corinthians”.
The big Brazilian has a contract with Il Lupi until 2013 but has fell way behind in the pecking order for a starting berth at the Stadio Olimpico.
