Adriano on the verge of joining Corinthians

Brazilian forward Adriano is set to seal a return back to his homeland by signing for Corinthians within the next 24 hours, according to reports.
The Sao Paulo club are the only ones interested in his services and it seems a contract has been readied for the ex-Roma and Inter striker to put down his signature.
Adriano had been linked with a return to Brazil ever since January and his recent contract termination with Roma means that he will move to Corinthians as a free agent.
The Brazilian club has been on the look-out for a forward after former legend Ronaldo announced his retirement earlier this year, and they believe Adriano could adequately replace him.
While Adriano struggled for Roma during his nine-month spell at the Giallorossi and failed to score a single goal for them, his goalscoring record in Brazil is quite impressive. His 19 goals led Flamengo to the Brazilian Championship in 2010. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
