Afellay snubs Serie A switch

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Afellay snubbed a move to Serie A, insisting he would rather play in Spain or England.
The Holland international, who has 30 caps and scored his first two goals on Tuesday night, had been heavily linked with a move to Inter, who have made no secret of their wish to reinforce their squad in January.
However, Afellay is unmoved by interest from the European champions. He briefly told Dutch reporters after their national team’s win over Sweden: “If I leave, I only want to go to Manchester United or Real Madrid.”
The 24-year-old Moroccan-born Afellay is highly-rated in his adopted country, and was identified by Inter boss Rafa Benitez due to his ability to play in the middle or either wing. The news is a blow to Inter, who had turned their attention to signing Afellay after they failed to prise Dirk Kuyt away from Liverpool. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
