Agent: Criscito chose ‘most convenient offer’

Andrea D’Amico has spoken to Radio Sportiva about Domenico Criscito’s move to Zenit St. Petersburg, claiming his client chose the ‘most convenient offer’.
Criscito made the move from Genoa to the Russian champions after being close to joining home-town club Napoli in a co-ownership deal.
Grifoni President Enrico Preziosi claims the port-city club sold the Italian international for €11m. Criscito will be under the guidance of ex-Roma boss Luciano Spalletti.
D’Amico says it represented the best offer for the player:“We had two or three options and Mimmo has chosen the most convenient offer in all points of view: economically and technically. Napoli made an offer and we declined.”
The agent does not believe the move will harm Criscito’s chances with Cesare Prandelli and the Italian national team.
“I do not believe he will find any problems in Russia and I do not believe he will be undervalued by Prandelli. With Zenit he will be able to play in the Champions League.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
