Agent quashes Valencia to Juventus theory

The agent of Antonio Valencia has rubbished recent rumours that linked his client with a shock move from Manchester United to Juventus.
Reports in Italy have suggested that the Bianconeri are looking to invest in a winger during the summer months and that the Red Devils wide-man is the club’s number one target.
The Ecuador international returned from a serious leg injury to establish himself as a vital part of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans last season, helping the club claim a record 19th English league title.
As a result, agent Diego Herrera, who also revealed that there is interest in Valencia from several clubs in Italy and Spain, has confirmed that the player is happy in England.
“Juventus? They are just rumours,” Herrera told TMW. “There has been interest from Italy and Spain, but not anything concrete. The player also has another four years on his contract at Manchester, a place where he is very happy.”
Valencia joined United in 2009 from Wigan Athletic for a fee believed to be in the region of £16 million.
