Agnelli: “I am unhappy with our season”

Juventus President Andrea Agnelli has added fuel to suggestions that Coach Gigi Del Neri could be on his way out of the club by stating he is unhappy with how the current season has unfolded.
The Old Lady patron however, said that all judgments would be made at the end of the season and from a personal perspective he has greatly admired the work done by Del Neri at Juventus.
“I only pass a judgment at the end of a campaign, to do so during the course of a year, is not the right thing. However, I for one, like our fans, cannot be satisfied (with the current results).”
Del Neri’s position at the club has been in doubt ever since the Bianconeri lost their way after the turn of the year. In recent weeks, the team has twice let a seemingly comfortble two-goal lead slip out of their hands.
“I know the kind of work this team has done this year, day in and day out and Del Neri on the field has been excellent. He is a person with great values and personally, I respect that a lot.”
Yet, his non-committal approach to confirming Del Neri as Coach for next season could be seen by some that Juventus might look for replacements.
The Bianconeri currently lie five points away from a Champions League spot and will have to rely on a host of results going their way, if they are to make Europe’s elite competition. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
