Alberto Malesani is wary of Montella’s Roma

Bologna Coach Alberto Malesani has voiced his opinion on Roma’s new Coach, insisting that if he is as good at in management as he was as a player then Bologna could be in deep trouble. Tuttomercatoweb reported that the Bologna tactician was not going to underestimate the Giallorossi despite recent form.
Malesani spoke about Montella saying that “The problem is, we don’t know what Montella’s Roma will be like. I do know the new Coach put many goals past me during his playing career. He was a great striker and I’m sure he’ll be just as effective in his new job. It’s a huge opportunity for him.”
He was also quick to pay respect to the departed Coach Claudio Ranieri: “Claudio Ranieri took a tough decision by resigning. It does him credit that he opted to take all the responsibility on his shoulders. Roma didn’t deserve to lose against Genoa and up until they were 3-0 up, it was one of their best performances of the season. Now Ranieri’s resignation forces the players to react and it won’t be easy for us.”
If 10th placed Bologna can gain three points against Roma tonight they will move only four pints behind their troubled Romans counterparts. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
