Allegri delighted with qualification

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri was pleased with the Rossoneri’s qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League following their 2-0 win over Auxerre. Allegri was also delighted for Ronaldinho who scored his team’s second goal despite being on for only the final five minutes.
“This qualification gives us strength and it is an important night for us. I am also very happy that we kept a clean sheet for the third game in a row”, said the Milanese tactician. He was also effusive in his praise of Brazilian Ronaldinho who had started the team’s last five games from the bench.
“I’m glad for Ronaldinho, as it wasn’t easy for him to come on and make an impact in the final minutes”, declared Allegri who will turn his side’s attention to the Serie A fixture with Sampdoria at the weekend.
“We all understand that in order to achieve certain results, we all need to sacrifice ourselves and work hard. The team realised that quickly and its going well in Serie A and the Champions League”.
The game against Auxerre was decided by Ibrahimovic’s brilliance once again as the Swede latched onto a loose ball and smashed it home first time from just outside the box. Ronaldinho’s goal was also special as he curled in a sweet left footed strike into the bottom corner of the net.
Allegri is aware of the over dependence on Ibra who was substituted for Ronaldinho after complaining of exhaustion. “It would be tricky without Ibrahimovic, as we don’t have someone with the same characteristics. We could play Ronaldinho and Robinho together for a side with great technique, but less physical presence”.
However for the moment, all is red for the Rossoneri and the Coach is happy with his team’s performances: “We are solid, don’t allow our opponents much and create a good four to five chances every game”. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
