Allegri: “No problems being Ibra dependent”

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri is not worried by his team’s over-reliance on striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to get the goals. The Swede has often proved to be the match winner for the Rossoneri and Allegri insists that a player like him is what Milan always needed.
Speaking to La Gazzetta Dello Sport the Milanese tactician stated, “I don’t see the problem (depending on Ibrahimovic). We signed him because we needed a player like him. And now with Pato and Inzaghi out, who are we supposed to depend on?”.
Milan have lost bot Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi to injuries and the latter has been ruled out for the entire season with damage to his cruciate ligament. The Rossoneri also let go of Marco Borriello and Klass Jan Huntelaar in the summer and are currently facing a shortage of men upfront.
Allegri hopes that this situation is addressed in the upcoming transfer window: “No one could have predicted the injuries to Pato and Inzaghi. In January, the priority is to sign a great striker like Galliani said – we either sign a high level player or stay as we are”.
There has been some speculation about the future of Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho who has found himself on the bench frequently in the last few weeks. However, Allegri believes he still has a role to play: “I like Ronaldinho. He is very positive, he’s always smiling and that helps his team-mates”.
Finally, the Milan Coach also shared his opinions on another Brazilian, Robinho, who arrived at the club in the summer: “Robinho is doing well as a second striker. For now I am happy, but I want him to get better, Just like the rest”.
After securing qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a win against Auxerre, Allegri and his troops will switch their attention to the league where they travel to Sampdoria on Saturday night hoping to extend their lead at the top. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
