Allegri pleased as Milan close in on title

Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, is confident his team can win the Scudetto next weekend in Rome after their 1-0 win over Bologna on Sunday.
French midfielder, Mathieu Flamini, scored the only goal of the game as the Rossoneri maintained their lead at the top of the Serie A table, and moved Bologna closer to the relegation places.
Milan, who have a better head-to-head record with second-placed Inter, need just one more point from their remaining three games to secure a first league title since 2004.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Allegri said: “Today’s victory has brought us closer to the Scudetto. But we still need one more point and we will try to get it at Roma on Saturday.
“It was not an easy match,”
Allegri said. “Bologna made life difficult for us and there was more pressure on this game than in our previous matches.
“We knew we had to win this game considering that Inter won at Cesena, and we did just that.
“I am very happy with my team’s performance and now we will look forward to our next game.”

The win extended Milan’s winning run in the league to five games, and the odds look good on the Rossoneri getting the point they need next weekend to clinch the title. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
