Allegri: “Ronaldinho will play against Ajax”

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri revealed that Brazilian Ronaldinho will start the Rossoneri’s game against Ajax on the final match-day of the Champions League.
The Rossoneri have already qualified for the knock-out phases and with top spot in the group out of reach, tomorrow’s game will provide a chance for Allegri to tinker his squad.
“Ronaldinho hasn’t trained yesterday, so we will take a decision on him today. If he is fine, he will start the game along side Robinho.”
Despite there being not much to play for in tomorrow’s encounter, Allegri is keen to get a result: “We absolutely have to get a good result. It is a Champions League game played in excellent conditions.”
The tactician also revealed that a few of the regulars will be given time off. Among those will be Milan’s leading goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, defender Gianluca Zambrotta and midfielder Gennaro Gattuso.
A proposed players’ strike has threatened to disrupt Serie A action this week but Allegri will be preparing his troops as normal “I’m preparing for the week expecting to play, and I hope we take to the field on Sunday.”
Finally, the Milanese Coach also shared his views on the FIFA Manager of the Year award. “I think Mourinho deserves the award, the work he did with Inter last year was quite incredible.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
