Allegri: Title race is still open

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that even though his side have a five point gap at the top, this should not be taken for granted. He acknowledged that Inter and Napoli are very much still in the running for the title.
Milan have 61 points to Inter’s 56 whilst Napoli lie in third with 53. After Milan’s 3-0 hammering of the Neapolitans at the San Siro many thought the Azzurri were out of the title race, however, Allegri does not. Speaking to Radio CRC he said: “There are ten matches to go, and many points are still available. The road ahead is long and the team directly behind us is Inter. Inter have all the characteristics to fight until the end. The Azzurri can fight for it as well because in this league, you cannot make mistakes otherwise you distance yourself from the pack.”
Allegri also mentioned that Milan would have to watch out for Roma, Juventus, Lazio and Udinese, although it is more likely that this warning was due to the fact that his team still had to play the afore mentioned and not because he considers them title contenders. “Careful attention should be paid to Roma, Lazio, Udinese and Juventus who are still in the hunt for the first four places.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
