Aly Cissokho looks Serie A bound

Lyon defender Aly Cissokho looks as though he could be on his way to Serie A this summer. His Italian agent confirmed that there is interest from the peninsula and deal may be possible.
Cissokho’s agent Fabrizio Ferrari told L’Equipe: “At the moment, the transfer market is still closed and a transfer won’t be easy. We’ll have to wait and see what happens in May. Lyon paid €15m for him, making him one of the most expensive left-backs around. However, I don’t think this would be a problem for clubs like Roma and Inter. He still has an excellent reputation in Italy.”
Inter will be looking to re-energise their aging team and the explosive defender could be just the man for the job. Additionally, Roma to are looking to inject new life into their squad and their new US board is ready to spend big this summer.
Cissokho came close to signing for Milan in the summer, however, medical problems meant the deal fell apart. The former Guegnon, Vitoria Setubal and Porto player had already been announced as a summer purchase by Milan before the medical revealed that a problem with his teeth could have meant that he may suffer with spinal problems.
