Calciomercato.it has reported that Juventus striker Amauri is the subject of interest from Liverpool.
The Brazilian-born Italy international has disappointed since Juventus bought him from Palermo in 2006 for €22.8 Euros. It has been alleged this season that Juve sporting director Beppe Marotta may be willing to sell Amauri in order to raise funds for a new striker.
Liverpool, who have struggled in the Premier League this season, have therefore identified the burly centre-forward as a January transfer target. The 30-year-old is supposedly valued at between €8-12 million by Juventus.
