Amauri won’t leave Juventus

Amauri’s agent has insisted that the out-of-form Juventus striker will not be sold in January to raise funds for a replacement. The Brazilian-born Italian international has been linked with an exit from the Turin club for some time, having always struggled to justify the €22.8 million that they paid Palermo for him in the summer of 2008.
But, his agent Giampiero Pocetta has claimed that there is no truth to the rumours linking the 30-year-old with other clubs. He said: “There is nothing new to report. Juventus are free to make whatever decisions they want, but the player is not on the market.
“Nothing has been said to us. The player is working hard to regain his fitness after injury and he definitely doesn’t want to leave Juventus. A move to Fiorentina? Amauri wants to put the last year behind him and there has been no contact with Fiorentina at all.”

However, Pocetta did admit that if the Bianconeri signed another striker, Amauri would be forced to consider his future. He continued: “Juventus can do what they want, but this is all hypothetical.
“Once they have made their decisions and if these impact on Amauri, then we will see what to do. But for now these are just voices.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
