Ancelotti confident that Juventus can be toppled

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti is confident that his talented group of players can topple Cristiano Ronaldo-led Juventus in the title race this season.
The Naples side enjoyed a fabulous season under Maurizio Sarri in 2017-18, but their impressive season-end total of 91 points fell short by four points.
Sarri has departed for Chelsea, and in his place, Ancelotti has been appointed in what could be considered a really intelligent move by Napoli. The Italian manager has won league titles in almost every major European league including Serie A, and he also has three Champions League trophies on his CV. He has arrived with the ambition of leading Naples to their first league title since 1989-90, and if you want to back him to succeed, check out an online offer from William Hill.
However, Ancelotti’s job has been made harder by Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus. The Turin club have proved to be uncatchable in Italy in recent years, and with the acquisition of Ronaldo, they have made a bold statement in Serie A.
The likes of Napoli and Milan clubs have considerably strengthened their respective squads, but Juventus are still expected to run away with the league title. Therein lies arguably the biggest challenge of Ancelotti’s illustrious career. To topple Juventus off the summit of the Italian football.
The Italian manager is not daunted by the scale of the task, and he is confident that he can lead Napoli to the much-awaited Serie A title. He claims that he decided to take the Napoli job because of the prospect of winning the Serie A title.
“I decided to come to Napoli above all for my desire to return to Italy and get back to speaking Italian, but then, of course, I was convinced by this club’s project,” he told DAZN. “Napoli are a side with a lot of quality, but they have not yet reached the highest step, despite going close.
“With my ability, I hope I can take this club onto that highest step.”
Napoli have been weakened by the departure of Jorginho to Chelsea, but they have also brought in some talented names like Simone Verdi, Fabian Ruiz, Kevin Malcuit and David Ospina.
Regular stars like Arkadiusz Milik, Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne and Kalidou Koulibaly have stayed at the club, and that has been a huge accomplishment by Napoli. Insigne and Milik were on target in the impressive 2-1 win at Lazio on the opening day.
It was a convincing start to the new season for Napoli, and they can make it even better when they travel to AC Milan on Sunday.
Milan have made some huge summer signings including former Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. Many expect them to challenge for the league title this season. It’s the battle between two supposed challengers to Juventus, and both would aim for nothing less than three points.
Ancelotti made a name for himself at San Siro, and he would love to make an early impression in his new job at his old stomping ground. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
