Aquilani happy to return to Liverpool

On loan Juventus midfielder Alberto Aquilani says he is willing to return to Liverpool at the end of the season if La Vecchia Signori do not want to sign him on a permanent deal.
Aquilani is on a season-long loan with Juve after he failed to impress in his debut season at Anfield.
The Bianconeri do have the option to buy the Italian international at the end of the current campaign, but if they do not exercise it, he is happy to back to Liverpool.
“The future? I am at Juve, but I don’t know what will happen” he told Gazzetta dello Sport, before adding: “I’m on loan and if I’m not retained, I’d go back to Liverpool in the best league in the world. We’ll see.”
Aquilani has also been linked with a move to former club Roma. Asked he would go back to the capital club, he said: “It is a delicate question. I would do, but I think it is difficult. As a fan I am curious to see what happens, especially if they begin to buy players and revolutionise the team.”
Aquilani has been inconsistent so far this season, playing 26 games for the Old Lady, scoring two.
