Aquilani keen on Juventus deal

Alberto Aquilani has revealed that he is keen to make his move to Juventus a permanent one at the end of the season.
The creative Italian midfielder is currently halfway through a season long loan deal from English Premier League club Liverpool with Juve having been granted the option to buy Aquilani when the temporary deal expires.
And the former Roma man, who has been in impressive form so far this term, is keen to return to his native homeland rather than re-start his career on Merseyside.
“I’m feeling fine and the injuries are behind me,” Aquilani told the Liverpool Echo. “I have had some difficult moments but with hard work and the help of those who love me I have overcome them.
“Delneri is an excellent coach, prepares us well and has created an excellent team spirit.
“It hasn’t taken us long to become united as a squad and I believe this will help us enormously.
“If Delneri talks about winning the title then there is a reason. We are going through a good period and have to consolidate this week after week.”

Aquilani endured a torrid time with injuries during his first year at Anfield, but the move to Juve has rejuvenated the 26-year-old’s career, culminating in a return to the Italian national squad.
