Aquilani unimpressed with city of Liverpool but happy to be playing back in Italy

Former Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has revealed his pleasure at returning to Italy with Milan, and has choice words to say about his former adopted city in England.
Talking in today’s Gazzetta dello Sport the Italy international thanked Juventus for signing him on loan last season: “They (Juventus) brought me back to Italy, they gave me the possibility to find continuity and to get back in the national team. If you don’t play much, in the end even if you feel fine there isn’t easy. I like the football way of life of the English, but, honestly, coming from Roma, Liverpool as a city wasn’t the greatest.”
Aquilani also told how he was happy to play anywhere under his new Coach Massimiliano Allegri: “I’ll play where i’m needed. Everyone has preferences, but it’s up to Allegri. I feel like a ‘mezzala’, I can play as a ‘trequartista’, I can play anywhere in midfield.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
