Aquilani unlikely to return to Italy

The agent of Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has confessed that he is unsure whether his client will return to Italy this summer.
26-year old Aquilani spent the whole of last season on loan at Juventus, gaining a host of plaudits during his stint in Turin.
A deal was put in place to make the move permanent, but Juve has since refused to meet Liverpool’s valuation of the player.
The player’s representative, Franco Zavaglia, has revealed that Aquilani did want to remain in Serie A but now that a season in the Premier League looks more likely. Speaking to Radio Sportiva Zavaglia said:
“Alberto’s thoughts were to stay in Italy, but this was not possible. I don’t know if there is a chance to go back to Italy during this transfer window, it’s a shame our players leave Italian football.
“Liverpool are an important team and I think he can win the Premier League. The objective at Anfield is Champions League football.”

However, with recent arrivals of Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson, Aquilani’s chances of first-team football at Liverpool look doubtful and manager Kenny Dalglish is willing to let the former Roma midfielder leave. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
