Arsenal want Bologna’s Viviano

Arsenal’s search for a new goalkeeper has led to them being linked with Bologna’s Emiliano Viviano, according to the Daily Mail.
Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his desire to find a new number one, with Manuel Almunia and Lukas Fabianski failing to establish themselves at the Emirates Stadium. After missing out on Fulham’s Mark Schwarzer in the summer, Arsenal are now thought to be monitoring Viviano.
The Bologna shot-stopper has impressed in Serie A this season, and after his outstanding performance that kept out Inter on the opening day, he has won two international caps. Filling in for the injured Gianluigi Buffon, Viviano has overtaken Palermo’s Salvatore Sirigu in the international pecking order. He kept a clean sheet against Northern Ireland last Friday, which Arsenal are sure to have noted.
At 24-years-old, Viviano is starting to fulfil his potential. Any potential bid in January will inevitably be complicated by the fact that Inter own half of his contract, along with Bologna. Arsenal would have to find a separate agreement with both clubs should they try and push through a deal. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
