Bacinovic doesn’t want to leave Palermo

Palermo’s Armin Bacinovic has distanced himself from the rumours linking him with a transfer to the English Premier League.
The Slovenian has had a meteoric rise after Palermo signed him last summer from Maribor in his homeland. He has impressed so much in Italy this season that the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool are considering a big-money move for him.
But the 21-year-old has refused to be tempted by these reports. He told Giornale di Sicilia: “The interest from English clubs? A move does not interest me.
“I’ve only played 20 matches in Serie A and I don’t think I need to change teams. I am interested in doing well for Palermo. I want to stay here for many years. I know my agent will soon ask for a salary increase, but that is not a problem. I am sure it will happen automatically when I deserve it.
“Meanwhile, we have to try and get fourth place. We can do it and it has always been a dream of mine to play in the Champions League.”

Alongside Bacinovic, Palermo have unearthed some valuable young players in recent times, including his compatriot Josip Ilicic and Argentinean Javier Pastore. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
