Bale doesn’t want Serie A switch

Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale has insisted that he is happy in England, amid reported interest from Serie A’s biggest clubs.
Bale scored a stunning hat-trick when Inter beat Tottenham 4-3 on Wednesday night, highlighting his potential to play for one of Europe’s giants. Inter and Milan were just two clubs to confirm their admiration for the left winger after the match.
But, Corriere dello Sport has reported that Bale has no intention of leaving London, as he said: “I don’t read into anything said about me. I am just happy playing week in, week out, for Tottenham and learning my football here.
“I am happy and I want to keep playing. I don’t take any interest in what is written about me because I think it’s best to keep your feet on the ground, go to training and learn, and also learn in the games every week.
“Hopefully there is still a lot more to come from me. I am still young and still learning and I want to keep getting better and better. That’s all I want to do.”

The 21-year-old would have already commanded a hefty fee before his goalscoring exploits, but now his price has surely rocketed.
