Balotelli could represent U-21s again

Ciro Ferrara, the new coach of the Italy U-21s, has pledged to call up Mario Balotelli if the Manchester City striker isn’t in the full international team.
Balotelli has one full international cap, but since earning it against the Ivory Coast he has been injured, and has only just returned. As a result, he isn’t guaranteed a spot in Cesare Prandelli’s Azzurri squad.
Ferrara told Radio Uno: “If Prandelli doesn’t call him for the Nazionale, then I will. It depends on Prandelli’s decisions.
“Balotelli was born in 1990, so qualifies for the Under-21 side, but it seems to me that he is already working at the highest level.
“In any case, if Prandelli does not feel the need to include Balotelli in his side, then I will for the Azzurrini.
“Having said that, I am sure a player like Balotelli will always be useful for Prandelli.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
