Balotelli gets off the mark as Azzurri win in Poland

Mario Balotelli scored his first goal for the Italian national team a sublime strike from about 25 yards out opening the scoring in last nights friendly for the nazionale against Poland.
Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli was delighted with the 21 year old’s goal. According to British newspaper The Guardian Prandelli said: “This great game by Balotelli counts for a lot because other than the goal he played an excellent match.”
The Azzurri scored a 2-0 victory over their Polish hosts last night as a second goal came courtesy another recent call-up, Giampaolo Pazzini. With Antonio Cassano and Giuseppe Rossi out with long term injuries, Balotelli and Pazzini have an oppertunity to step up to their best if Italy are to be a force to reckon with at EURO 2012.
“Again we haven’t conceded and it is important to keep a certain balance. The lads managed the game well, Poland started strongly but we contained them,” Prandelli declared.
Ignazio Abate and Angelo Ogbonna were given their first caps for Italy and the two defenders will be fairly happy with their performances. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
