Bari bring in Palermo’s Glik

Bari have boosted their hopes of survival by reinforcing their defence with the loan signing of Kamil Glik from Palermo.
Bari are rock bottom of Serie A and have conceded 29 goals in 17 games – only local rivals Lecce, in 19th place, have conceded more.
The two clash later in the week in a relegation six-pointer, and Glik, 22, will hope to make his debut in the high-pressure encounter.
Bari president Vincenzo Matarrese said: “In regards to the market, we have only been able to get a defender, Glik, who is already confirming his qualities.
“We will not be able to reinforce the attack prior to the derby, but this is our central focus and taking up our attention.”

The Polish centre-back joined Palermo from Piaste Gliwice in his homeland last summer, but still hasn’t represented the Sicilian club in Serie A.
His four Europa League appearances have been enough to convince Bari to take him on loan for the rest of the campaign though. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
