Bari Ultras attack the team

200 Bari Ultras have staged a violent protest due the team’s poor recent performances. This had already happened two weeks ago and resulted in Coach Giampiero Ventura resigning to be replaced by Bortolo Mutti.
Bari currently sit bottom of the Serie A table, they are seven points off 19th place Cesena and have amassed only three wins and six draws in 26 games. This has caused the Bari faithful to turn on their team and these protests yesterday turned violent again.
Two weeks ago when the Ultra’s last took action the result was the resignation of Giampiero Ventura. Now, seeing no change even with a new Coach the Ultras went to Bari’s training ground and hurled insults throughout the practice session. Things then went from bad to worse as the players left the field and had to pass some of the group. According to NewNotizie some of the team were subjected to physical assaults. The worse of these were directed at Emanuel Rivas who was grabbed by his ear and pulled towards a disgruntled fan, Marco Rossi who was kicked forcefully in the hip and Massimo Donati who had a fan spit in his face.
The new Coach Bortolo Mutti was taken to one side and told to field the Primavera team in the next home match against Fiorentina. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
