Barzagli keen on Juventus move

Andrea Barzagli’s agent claims that the Wolfsburg defender wants to return to Italy and sign for Juventus. The Italian World Cup winner moved to the German club two years ago after excelling with Palermo, but his contract is due to expire in the summer.
Barzagli seemingly has no intention of signing a new deal, so instead of letting him leave for free at the end of June, Wolfsburg want to sell him in January. Juventus are reportedly fronting the queue for the centre-back’s signature.
His agent Claudio Orlandini told Tuttosport: “If Wolfsburg are upstanding, they should allow Andrea to return to Italy in January and Juve would be a solution that he would like, even if it’s not the only option that we are evaluating”.
Due to his expiring contract, the 29-year-old would be available for a small fee, making him an attractive proposition to many Serie A clubs. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
