Barzagli on his way to Juventus

Italian defender Andrea Barzagli seems to be heading back to Italy to join Juventus as reports in the peninsula suggest that the World Cup winner will land in Turin tomorrow.
Barzagli’s agent confirmed to ANSA that the Italian is indeed close to switching to the Bianconeri on Saturday and now it seems that the only thing that remains is an official signature and a medical.
The transfer fee for the 29-year old is expected to be around €500,000 which Gazzetta Dello Sport claim will be adjusted against the money the Germans owe to Juve for Diego.
Barzagli moved to Wolfsburg in 2008 after a successsful spell at Palermo and won the Bundesliga in his maiden season at the club. At Juve, he is expected to serve as cover for Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
The Old Lady had been looking to reinforce their defence for a long time and Barzagli’s arrival will provide them with a solution. It is now believed that Juventus will ramp up their hunt for a striker in the coming few days. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
