Behrami happy at Fiorentina

Swiss international Valon Behrami spoke to Corriere dello Sport about his current situation at Fiorentina from his training camp with the national team. The ex-Lazio defender made note of how his January move came about and how he feels at home in Florence.
“It’s true, it is great to be in the national team, and thanks must go to Fiorentina for the fact I have played regularly. My family and I are happy again in the city of Florence.”
Behrami has made ten appearances for Sinisa Mihajlovic since his mid-season switch, yet was initially linked with a move to Roma. Behrami dismissed the rumours: “Roma did not have the amount necessary to close the deal and it all faded away. I was in contact with Fiorentina and at the end of January they chased me, so I was out the door.”
Behrami left Lazio for a stint in England at West Ham, but is more convinced of La Viola’s squad: “Fiorentina is stronger than West Ham. We have many quality players in the squad and I know the President wants to build something important for the future.” Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
