Blackburn make official Ronaldinho bid

Blackburn Rovers have made an audacious bid to Milan to sign Ronaldinho, despite the Premier League club’s new owners denying any interest in the player.
Indian-based company Venky’s have recently taken over Blackburn and have promised to invest heavily in the squad. They have now confirmed that they have met Milan’s €8 million asking price for the unsettled Brazilian.
Ronaldinho is currently in his homeland where they is an apparent bidding war for his signature between Gremio and Flamengo.
It seemed certain that the former World Player of the Year would join one of those clubs and therefore end his career back home in Brazil, but Blackburn have seemingly made a last-ditch bid to scupper his plans.
It has been rumoured in Brazil that both Gremio and Flamengo are struggling with the financial aspect of signing such a high-profile player, as well as paying his transfer fee to Milan.
However, Blackburn should have no such problem as their new Indian owners seem keen on making an impact in the transfer market.
The 30-year-old playmaker is still expected to snub Blackburn’s overtures in order to secure a move back to Brazil. However, in the event that Gremio and Flamengo cannot afford to complete a transfer, Blackburn may be a realistic option for Ronaldinho. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
