Boban: Hamsik not ready for the big clubs

In the Milan-Napoli post match analysis on Sky Calcio, Zvonimir Boban stated that Marek Hamsik is not ready yet for a move to a “big team“.
The Slovakian international is an idol of Napoli fans and has been repeatedly linked with the main big teams in Europe, from Chelsea to Real Madrid. Napoli Chairman De Laurentiis has recently declared that “Hamsik could be sold only for an out-of-this-world offer and 50 millions Euros would not be an out-of-this-world offer”.
But the former Croatia captain and Milan star begs to differ and last night lamented that Hamsik “vanishes when the playing gets tough” and reckons that this denotes “a lack of personality”. He recognizes that Hamsik is very good in seeing the space but “doesn’t help the team when it comes to build the play. Unless he scores in a match you don’t feel his presence on the pitch”. This is “good to play for teams who aim to establish themselves at top level but not good enough to play for the big European clubs”. To support his claim Boban stated that “it was that way also during this year World Cup”, where Hamsik showed very little with his National Team. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
