Bologna docked one point for financial issues

Bologna have been penalized by one point for their financial irregularities and failure to pay income tax liabilities on salaries for the months of May and June.
The Rossoblu came under new ownership of Sergio Porcedda earlier this year and were referred for their non-payment of monies due last month.
The Disciplinary Commission has now taken the decision that the Rossoblu will be docked a single point for their troubles and make even face more penalties in the ongoing trial.
The defence for the club argued today that the offences committed were by people who had no affiliation to the club but the Commission ruled otherwise.
President Sergio Porcedda and his CEO Silvio Marras were both handed a six-month ban from taking part in further activities of the club.
Things could get worse for the Rossoblu as the FIGC are considering a further two-point penalty for failure to pay player wages.
The penalty means Bologna will now slip to 13 points just a single point above the relegation zone. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
