Bologna receive referral for unpaid wages

Bologna have been served with a referral for unpaid wages to staff and players and could risk a points penalty. The National Disciplinary Committee handed referrals to the Rossoblu as well as Serie B side Ascoli.
Reports of unpaid wages have constantly irked Bologna President Sergio Porcedda who took over earlier this year. Following a report from Covisoc, the Board of Supervision and Control on the budget of clubs, the top management of the club were penalized for ‘witholding payments relating to the fee for the months of May and June 2010, under the terms established by federal regualtions’.
If the clubs does not respond to the notice or in the event they fail to comply with the directives, there could be a possible points penalty imposed on them. The Rossoblu currently lie in 15th place in the standings with 14 points from their opening 12 games. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
