Bologna sale completed

Bologna have been bailed out of their financial difficulties after Massimo Zanetti, owner of Segafreddo coffee, agreed to buy-out the club. The Italian entrepreneur will take over 100% control of the club once the sale is effected.
The Rossoblu were in trouble with the authorities earlier this season as they were docked one point for failure to pay outstanding income tax liabilities and had become embroiled in debts.
Former owner, Sergio Porcedda put the club up for sale last month barely six months after he bought it over and a number of financial irregularities prompted an investigation by the Disciplinary Commission.
The new owners will hold a meeting with the board members tomorrow to decide a capital increase for the club. Curiously enough, Porcedda will still be involved with the handling of the Rossoblu as he is likely to be Zanetti’s second-in-command.
Meanwhile, the Disciplinary Commission is still considering levying a further points penalty on Bologna as the staff and the players were not paid wages for the months of August and September. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
