Bologna: Viviano will go to Inter

Corriere dello Sport has reported that Bologna are resigned to losing star goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano to Inter at the end of the season.
Viviano has impressed this season and has established himself as Italy’s first-choice national team keeper in the absence of Gianluigi Buffon. However, while Bologna own 50 per cent of Viviano’s contract, Inter own the other half, meaning the two clubs will one day have to decide where his future lies. It seems Bologna know he will end up at the San Siro soon.
The Rossoblu’s sporting director Carmine Longo said: “Viviano’s situation is that he is at the centre of a co-ownership deal that will have to be resolved one way or the other. I honestly don’t think Bologna have the money available to take control of his whole contract.
“After all, don’t forget that we are talking about the current first-choice for the Italian national team. Inter could take him next season or leave him with us for another season.
“However, these things are to be discussed in the summer seeing as co-ownership deals don’t need to be resolved under June 23.”

Inter are seemingly in a stronger financial position to be able to bid 6.5 million Euros for the other half of Viviano’s contract, a sum that Bologna would struggle to match. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
