Branca: ‘Villas-Boas will not be the new Inter Coach’

Inter Technical Director Marco Branca who reportedly flew out to Oporto last night to try and negotiate a release for Andre Villas-Boas to join the Nerazzurri has said the Portuguese will not be the new Nerazzurri boss.
Speculation was rife this morning that Inter might attempt an audacious bid to lure Villas-Boas to Milan to fill in the role left vacant by Leonardo’s sudden departure. However, Branca has reportedly told ANSA the contrary.
“Villas-Boas will not be the new Inter Coach. I find it imperative to make this clarification as there have been numerous suggestions made by the media.
“He is attached to Porto and his buy-out clause is simply too huge, but that is not the only reason it excludes the possibility of him being on the Inter bench next season.”

Villas-Boas is the latest name who has now been rejected as an option for the Nerazzurri coaching position. In the past few days, both Marcelo Biesla and Sinisa Mijhalovic have distanced themselves from the rumours.
However, Corriere Dello Sport in particular continues to insist that Mijhalovic has agreed to a two-year deal at Inter. The other options include Gianpiero Gasperini, Delio Rossi and England boss Fabio Capello. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
