Brescia receive Juarez blow

Celtic winger Efrain Juarez has denied rumours that he is set to join Brescia on loan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Mexican winger only joined Celtic last summer, signing a four-year deal in the process, but has struggled to adapt to Scottish football and the club were supposedly looking to offload him already.
Brescia’s alleged interest has taken a knock, though. The 22-year-old said: “I was very surprised to hear this rumour. I went to train, then I had a sleep in the afternoon. When I woke up, my phone was ringing like crazy.
“Even my dad phoned to ask what was happening about Brescia. I am absolutely not aware of any transfer to Italy. I remain at Celtic.”

Juarez’s agent Jorge Berlanga added: “I’m very upset by these reports. I have had a meeting with Celtic and there is no transfer for Efrain. For a start, I don’t think Efrain could go anywhere because of work permit issues.”
New Brescia coach Giuseppe Iachini, who replaced the sacked Mario Beretta yesterday, will be forced to look elsewhere if he is to make any last-minute additions to his squad. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
