Buffon reaffirms commitment to Juventus

Gianluigi Buffon has rejected speculation that he could leave Juventus in the January transfer window for Manchester United.
After sustaining a back injury in the World Cup that has ruled him out of the season so far, Buffon’s commitment to Juventus has been called into question.
This has led to rumours linking him with a switch to the Premier League giants, but Buffon has insisted that he is staying in Turin.
He told Tuttosport: “I have no intention of leaving Juventus. I feel good here and I have no problems with my contract.”
“My wish is to respect my contract and see it through until 2013. Then we will see if there is the option to renew.
“Manchester United? They are a great team I have faced a few times and have a few bitter memories of, nothing else.”

The 32-year-old goalkeeper is hoping to return to training before Christmas and is likely to be back in action for the Bianconeri in the new year.
