Cagliari claim Matri and Lazzari will stay

Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has insisted that his star players Alessandro Matri and Andrea Lazzari will not be sold to Milan in January.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri helped the duo’s development during his time at Cagliari, and now believes they can step up and play for the Rossoneri.
However, Cellino has claimed that neither player will be sold until at least the end of the season. He made his intentions to keep them clear in an interview with L’Unione Sarda.
“I made a promise to our 4,000 members, to our coach [Roberto] Donadoni and to the rest of the side: Lazzari and Matri will remain with us in January. They are also the first people to agree with this choice.”
“In June, the discourse may change. If Cagliari are able to go to the next level and plan for our future projects, it would be an injustice to hold these high-quality players back.”

Milan identified Lazzari, 25, as a replacement if Ronaldinho leaves the Rossoneri. Matri, 26, is also wanted by Milan but they will face competition from Juventus and Fiorentina. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
