Cagliari free to play at Stadio Sant’Elia

Cagliari will not have to find a new home as the Stadio Sant’Elia is set to be open this weekend when the Sardinians hosts Fiorentina.
There were fears Cagliari would have to look for another venue after a disagreement with the local council, who owns the stadium, over planned maintenance work.
According to L’Unione Sarda, there will however be a limit of 10,000 supporters allowed into the stadium. The council would prefer this than to have the game take place behind closed doors. The Fiorentina contest will also occur on Sunday, not Saturday as initially planned.
The council is hoping all maintenance work will be complete by the time Roma visits, on February 1. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
