Cagliari prepared to sell Lazzari

Andrea Lazzari could be set for a switch to Milan during January as Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has admitted that “there is a willingness to negotiate” his transfer.
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri previously coached Cagliari and knows Lazzari from his time in Sardinia. The playmaker, 26, has been identified as a possible recruit in order to help reduce the overall age of Milan’s squad.
And now Ronaldinho and his hefty wages have been offloaded back to Brazil, Milan are even keener to tie up a deal for the Cagliari player to replace him.
Cellino, who was initially apprehensive at the suggestion of selling his best player, has now given the move the green light for the proposed move.
“There is a willingness to negotiate. However in my opinion there won’t be any particular problems seeing the relationship that I have with a true friend like Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.
“If Milan and Lazzari want [the move], then there is no problem. But we need an adequate compensation.”

The Rossoneri may have to fork out a fee in the region of €5 million for the player, and Allegri’s relationship with him from their time together at Cagliari should be enough to complete the deal at some point this month. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
