Cagliari’s Biondini a wanted man

The announcement from Cagliari that midfielder Davide Biondini will not be renewing his contract has alerted fellow Serie A clubs, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
Biondini’s contract expires at the end of the season and Cagliari President Massimo Cellino noted the decision to not extend the contract was mutual.
This has alerted Parma, Napoli, Genoa and Lazio to a potential summer swoop. It is believed at this stage Parma’s offer is concrete, with the player being offered a four year deal.
Biondini is thinking over the offer, but would also like to make a switch to an ambitious club, one that can at least challenge for the Europa League. Thus, he will wait and see if the other clubs are serious about their interest. Genoa are believed to be the closest out of the three to securing Biondini.
Parma may aim to seal the deal in January by offering the Sardinian side cash in return for an immediate transfer.
