Can Juventus go unbeaten in Serie A this season?

Massimiliano Allegri’s side were phenomenal throughout the 2014-15 season as they claimed their fourth successive Serie A title and lifted the Coppa Italia for the 10th time in their illustrious history. Furthermore, the Old Lady reached the Champions League final for the first time since 2003 and, although they lost 3-1 to Luis Enrique’s Barcelona side, gave an excellent account of themselves throughout Europe’s elite competition. This season, the Italian giants are targeting their fifth consecutive top-flight title and should look to avoid defeat in their league campaign. Juventus actually achieved this sensational feat back in the 2011-12 season as they won 25 and drew 13 of their 38 league matches and the 31-time Serie A winners are looking to emulate that record this term.
The Italian giants remain one of the best teams on the continent and were well worth their place in May’s Champions League final. On route to the final, the Old Lady knocked out Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and 13-time winners Real Madrid. Throughout the campaign, Juventus showed that they are more than capable of competing against Europe’s best sides and Allegri’s men will be targeting another excellent run in this season’s competition. Despite this, Serie A will remain their top priority ahead of the upcoming season as they attempt to claim their fifth title in a row – an achievement they have managed just once before between 1930 and 1935.
Juventus are by far the best team in Italy and are the only team in Serie A who can dominate the transfer market. The two Milan clubs are both in decline while the likes of Lazio, Roma and Napoli are good sides but struggle to compete with the Old Lady. Back in the 2011-12 campaign, there were a number of Italian clubs that were capable of lifting the title. Nowadays, it’s Juve’s title to lose. In fact, many punters believe that the odds on the Old Lady are too short to reap rewards and have opted to take advantage of free bets to support the likes of Roma and Roberto Mancini’s Inter Milan, who recently confirmed the signing of Geoffrey Kondogbia from Monaco.
Their rivals will be hungrier than ever as they attempt to narrow the gap between themselves and the Old Lady but they may struggle to prevent Juve from claiming their fifth successive crown. The Italian giants have already acquired three players this summer – Mario Mandzukic, Sami Khedira and Paulo Dybala – as they prepare for the preseason tours and competitions, while they have also been linked with moves for Chelsea’s Oscar and Real Madrid’s Isco. Inter have revealed that they plan on making more acquisitions as they try to climb the Serie A table after a dreadful 2014-15 campaign, while Roma, Napoli and Lazio will be battling it out for the automatic Champions League positions.
Juventus will be eager to equal their record from 2011-12 as they look to cement their place as one of the greatest club teams in Italian football history. Allegri’s men will be without talisman Andrea Pirlo this season but their new acquisitions are more than capable of stepping up to the plate as the Old Lady bid to claim their fifth successive title. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Juve achieve this feat and, with a bit of luck, they could avoid defeat throughout the entire domestic campaign. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
