Cannavaro rules out Napoli Scudetto talk

Napoli captain Paolo Cannavaro refuses to be drawn into a discussion about the Scudetto, while he praised star striker Edinson Cavani.
The Azzurri temporarily joined the Rossoneri at the summit on Sunday afternoon when they defeated Bologna 2-0, but Milan responded with a 2-1 win against Fiorentina.
Speaking with Sky Italia, the 29-year-old told journalists now is not the time to talk championships: “We have not said anything [about the Scudetto] until now and we will not say anything.”
Asked about a comparison between Napoli legend Diego Maradona and Cavani, the captain said he hoped Cavani will also be a figure in club history. The Uruguayan has so far scored 25 goals this season.
“Maradona is part of our history; I hope that Cavani can become part too. However, to follow Diego is not easy, because he did so much for us.”
Milan lead second placed Napoli by just three points with only six matches remaining.
