Capdevila on Juventus wish-list

The agent of Spain’s World Cup winning left-back Joan Capdevila has claimed that Juventus are interested in the player, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Juve have consistently had problems filling the left-back position, with Paolo De Ceglie disappointing in the role this season. Previously, Fabio Grosso was played there, but he now finds himself surplus to requirements. As a result, Villareal’s Capdevila is an apparent transfer-target due to his expiring contract.
His agent Horacio Gaggioli said: “The prospect of a renewal is not to be ruled out. We have reached an agreement to speak with the club at the end of November. Nevertheless, Joan is playing at a very high level and many teams would like to sign him.
“I know that Juventus are interested, but also other teams like Schalke, Valencia, and several Premier League teams.”

Capdevila, 32, has represented the World champions 55 times.
