Casiraghi warns his Italy U21 side against complacency

Pierluigi Casiraghi has sent out this stark warning to his under 21 side ahead of their European Championship play-off second leg against Belarus on Tuesday.
Speaking to the Corriere dello Sport, the former Juventus legend was quick to respond to anyone who may already think his side has clinched a spot at next summer’s tournament in Denmark. The coach declared that: “it will be a tough match for sure, we have a two goal advantage but if we drop our concentration levels this can be easily overturned”.
The Azzurrini were impressive in the first leg in Rieti and goals from Genoa’s Mattia Destro and Roma striker Stefano Okaka Chuka gave their side the advantage to take into the second leg. Casiraghi explained exactly how he wants his team to approach the game by stating that : “we must go onto the field as if the score was 0-0”.
