Cassano to join Milan in New Year

The Antonio Cassano saga is inching ever closer to an end as fresh reports in Italy suggest that the striker will tour with Milan in their New Year trip to Dubai.
Cassano has been a hot favourite to join the Rossoneri after his contract termination proceedings with Sampdoria saw the case get rejected.
Since, then Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has admitted multiple times that the Rossoneri were talking to Cassano and the player himself posed in a Milan jersey saying ‘it looked good on him’.
The only remaining stumbling block is a clause in Cassano’s Sampdoria contract which states that a payment of €5 million must be made to his former club Real Madrid when he transfers out from the Blucerchiati.
A resolution is yet to be found as to who will make the payment to Los Blancos and Cassano rumoredly offered to make part of the payment himself to ease his move.
Now it seems that FanAntonio will be with Milan in the New Year and may join them as early as the 2nd of January when the team embarks for a trip to Dubai.
There has also been constant speculation that Ronaldinho may leave the Rossoneri upon Cassano’s arrival but Sportmediaset report that the Brazilian will in fact stay with Milan.
Cassano is being seen by Milan as a replacement for Filippo Inzaghi and not for Ronaldinho. The Sampdoria man is also cup-tied having played in the Champions League preliminaries and the Europa League with the Blucerchiati. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
