Castaignos eager for Inter switch

Feyenoord wonderkid Luc Castaignos has revealed his delight to be imminently signed a contract to join Inter at the end of the season.
The 18-year-old striker was coveted by some of Europe’s biggest clubs, and the volume of interest meant a transfer in the January transfer window became too difficult to arrange. However, it now seems Inter have won the race and have a deal in principle with Feyenoord, believed to be around €4 million.
Castaignos said: “My transfer has gotten its fair share of attention in the press, but this didn’t really affect me. I always knew that the clubs would manage to agree terms.
“I have yet to agree personal terms, but that won’t be too much of a problem. They are ready to offer me a four-year deal and they’ve told me that I won’t be shipped out on loan. That shows that they have a lot of faith in me. They want me to join up with the team right away this summer.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone at Inter yet. My agents took care of everything so far. I only know most of the players from the television and I’m really looking forward to my transfer.
“Inter are a huge club and I’m proud to join them at the end of the season.”

Nerazzurri boss Leonardo has already added Giampaolo Pazzini to his attack but Castaignos will add further depth to the squad for next season. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
