Chelsea want Roma’s Doni

Chelsea have been linked with an interest in Roma’s out-of-favour goalkeeper Alexandre Doni, according to reports in the Corriere dello Sport.
Chelsea have no apparent plans to offload their first-choice keeper Petr Cech, but are seemingly in the market to sign a back-up for the Czech international. The likes of Ross Turnbull and Hilario have failed to impress at Stamford Bridge, and now it seems Carlo Ancelotti is casting his eye over Serie A to search for a new second-choice.
The 30-year-old Brazilian Doni had spent four seasons as Roma’s keeper before losing his place to his compatriot Julio Sergio. In the summer Doni rejected a move to West Ham and Fulham in the Premier League, but a move to Chelsea may be more appealing. Welcome Bonus Offer Betway
